Captions, labels on a screenshot, a price on a product photo or classic meme text: add as many text layers as you need, drag each one into place and style it independently. White text with a black outline stays readable on any photo; a soft drop shadow is the subtler option.

Only system font stacks are used (sans-serif, serif, monospace and a heavy Impact-style face), so nothing is downloaded and the tool works offline once loaded. The final image is drawn at the original resolution with the same drawing code as the preview, in a background thread.

How to use it

  1. Drop a photo or screenshot.
  2. Edit the first text layer in the panel, or click Add text for more. Multi-line text is supported.
  3. Drag a text box on the image to move it, or select it and use the arrow keys (Shift moves 10 px at a time).
  4. Set size, font, weight, colour, alignment, outline and shadow for each layer.
  5. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and click Export image, then download.

Frequently asked questions

Is the output the same size as my photo?

Yes. The export uses the original pixel dimensions (up to 8192 px on the longest side); font sizes are in the photo's own pixels, so text looks exactly as positioned in the preview.

Why does the font look slightly different on another computer?

The tool uses fonts already installed on the device, so a "sans-serif" layer may render in Segoe UI on Windows and San Francisco on a Mac. Text is baked into the pixels when you export, so the downloaded image looks the same everywhere.

Can I edit the text after downloading?

No. The exported file is a flat image. Keep the page open if you may want to change something, and export again.

Is my image uploaded?

No. It is decoded, edited and exported in your browser.
