Application portals and email often want a single file: the passport scan, the visa letter and the bank statement as one PDF, or a signed contract followed by its annexes. Add the PDFs, put them in the right order and download one document whose pages appear exactly as they did in the originals, at the same quality. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and the size is roughly the sum of the inputs.
Reorder by dragging the handle, with the arrow buttons, or by focusing the handle and pressing the up and down arrow keys. Each file shows its page count, and the total is shown before you merge, so you can check nothing is missing.
The merge runs in a background worker in your browser with pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library. Password-protected PDFs cannot be combined; open them in the app that created them and save an unprotected copy first.
How to use it
- Drop two or more PDFs on the box, or click it to choose them. Add more at any time.
- Put the files in order: drag the handle, use the arrow buttons, or focus a handle and press the arrow keys.
- Click Merge PDFs and download the combined file.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is read and processed by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can load the page, switch off Wi-Fi and it still works.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, including text, vector graphics and images, so the merged PDF looks identical and text stays searchable.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
Up to 50 files and 100 MB per file on the free plan. Very large merges depend on your device's memory, as everything happens in the browser.
Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
Page content, annotations and links on the page are kept. Document-level extras such as the bookmark outline and interactive form data are not carried over, which is normal for page-based merging.
Can I merge only some pages of a file?
Merge the whole files here, then use Remove PDF pages or Split PDF on the result to drop or extract the pages you do not need.
