About AI Review
AI Review turns the public reviews of a product into one page that answers a single question: should you buy it? Each page combines published buyer star ratings from retailers with professional verdicts from review sites, then shows a consensus score from 0 to 100, who the product suits, what people praise and complain about, where reviewers disagree, and alternatives at the same price.
Every number is traceable to the sources listed on the page, and the summaries are written in our own words; we never copy review text. The score is a summary of other people's reviews, not our own test and not a recommendation. Launch categories are Phones & Audio, Beauty & Skincare, Home & Kitchen and Gaming.
How the consensus score is calculated
Score = 50% Recommend (the share of buyer ratings that are 4 or 5 stars) + 30% Expert (professional verdicts normalised to 0-100, e.g. 4.5/5 = 90, an "Editor's Choice" badge = 85) + 20% KPI balance (the mean of category attributes such as sound, battery or ease of cleaning, each scored 0-10 from expert statements and buyer sentiment).
Products with few reviews are pulled toward the category average (a confidence shrink with a prior of 200 reviews), so a handful of perfect ratings cannot beat thousands of good ones. If at least 15% of long-term reviews report a durability or safety failure, the score is capped at 74. Praise and complaint percentages are the share of reviews that mention the point, so they do not add up to 100.
How it works
- Type a product name in any language, a model code such as "xm6", or a question like "best air fryer".
- Pick a suggestion or press Check. A family name such as "airpods" asks which model you mean; "best …" shows the top five in that category.
- Read the verdict card: the score, who it is best for, the price tier and the two reasons to buy or skip.
- Ask a question about the product, open "Why this score?" for the details, or compare it with an alternative.
- If a product is not covered yet, leave your email and we will build its page and let you know.

Where do the reviews come from?
Published star distributions from retailers such as Best Buy, Target and brand stores, and verdicts from review sites such as TechRadar, Tom's Guide, What Hi-Fi and RTINGS. Each product page lists its sources with links.
Is the score a recommendation?
No. It summarises what other buyers and reviewers said. It is not our own test, it can lag behind new firmware or formula changes, and it does not know your needs, so read the "Buy if" and "Skip if" lines too.
Why is there no 12-month trend line yet?
We only show scores we actually measured. The first measurement was taken in September 2026, so pages say "Tracking since Sep 2026" until more monthly points exist.
Is the answer to my question generated live?
No. Answers come only from the reviews already collected for that product. If not enough reviews mention your topic, the page says so instead of guessing.
What happens with my email if I join the waitlist?
We store it with your search so we can email you once the page exists, and use the list to decide which products to add next. It is not shared or used for marketing.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes. Search in Arabic or English; the Arabic pages at /ar/ai-review show the same scores with Arabic text.
