Read & inspect
Most image jobs start with a rule from a form or an app: a photo under 100 KB, exactly 600 × 600 pixels, JPG only. The passport photo maker crops a portrait to 2 × 2 in, 35 × 45 mm and other document sizes with a head-size guide and lays out a print sheet. The image compressor takes a target size in KB and searches for the highest quality that fits, with ready-made pages for 100 KB and 200 KB limits, and the image resizer sets exact pixel dimensions or a preset from a portal guide.
iPhone photos arrive as HEIC, which many sites reject: HEIC to JPG fixes that. For a clean cut-out use the background remover; to sign documents, make a transparent PNG with the signature maker; and before posting a photo, blur faces and number plates or strip the location and camera data. Everything runs in your browser, so the photos are never uploaded.
