Application forms, tax and visa forms, school consent forms and HR paperwork are often fillable PDFs. Choose the form and every field it defines is listed by page with the label the form author gave it: text boxes (single and multi-line, with their character limits), check boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists and list boxes. Required fields are marked, and read-only fields are shown but left alone.
Type your answers, tick and pick, and save. The values are written into the form's own fields, so the PDF stays a working form that others can open, check and change in any PDF reader. Turn on "Flatten" for a final copy: the answers become part of the page and can no longer be edited.
Arabic answers work. Standard PDF fonts cannot draw Arabic, so a text field that contains Arabic gets its appearance drawn with IBM Plex Sans Arabic, with the letters joined and the line ordered right to left, and mixed Arabic and English in the right order. If you later open the form in an editor that redraws fields with its own font, check the Arabic there or flatten the form first.
If the PDF has no fields, which is common for scanned forms and forms saved from Word, the tool says so; type on it with Edit PDF instead. Forms built with Adobe XFA (LiveCycle Designer) use a format browsers cannot fill; open those in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Signature fields are listed but signing is done with Sign PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The file is read and processed by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to a server. The PDF engine is downloaded from this site the first time you use a tool and then runs on your device.
Why does it say my PDF has no form fields?
The PDF has lines and boxes printed on it but no interactive fields, which is typical of scans and documents exported from Word. Use Edit PDF to place text boxes where the answers go.
Can I fill the form in Arabic?
Yes. Arabic is drawn with IBM Plex Sans Arabic, joined and right to left, and aligned the way the field asks. Mixed Arabic and English in one answer keeps the right order.
What does flatten do?
It turns the filled fields into ordinary page content, so the answers print and display the same everywhere and nobody can change them with a form tool. Keep a copy that is not flattened if you may need to edit it.
Can I sign the form here?
Signature fields are listed but not filled here. Save the filled form, then open it in Sign PDF to draw, type or upload your signature.
Does it work with XFA forms?
No. XFA forms (Adobe LiveCycle Designer) describe their fields in a format that only Adobe's software fills reliably. The tool detects them and says so; open them in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
What if my PDF is password-protected?
The tool will say so. If it is your file and you know the password, remove the protection with Unlock PDF first, then use the unlocked copy here.
