Remove pages from a PDF

Delete pages from a PDF by clicking their thumbnails or typing page numbers, then download the shorter file.

Scanners add blank backs, statements come with pages of terms and conditions, and exported reports carry cover sheets nobody needs. Every page is shown as a thumbnail: click the ones to delete (they turn red), or type them in the Pages box, for example 2, 5-7, and click "Select these pages". The counter shows how many pages the new file will have before you commit.

The remaining pages are copied into a new PDF unchanged, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Removing pages usually also makes the file smaller, which helps with upload limits.

Thumbnails are drawn with pdf.js as you scroll, so even long documents open quickly. Everything happens in your browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PDF; its pages appear as thumbnails.
  2. Click each page to remove, or type page numbers and ranges and click "Select these pages". Use Invert to keep only the selected pages instead.
  3. Click Remove pages and download the edited PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The file is read and processed by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can load the page, switch off Wi-Fi and it still works.

Can I undo a removal?

Your original file is never changed. Click a page again to unselect it before you remove, or start over from the original if you downloaded the wrong selection.

How do I keep only a few pages?

Select the pages you want to keep, click Invert, then Remove pages. Or use Split PDF and extract a range into one file.

Why can I not remove every page?

A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool asks you to leave one.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Yes. Scanned and text PDFs are handled the same way, and pages are not re-compressed.
